Make Sure to Use AG’s New Forms Or It Will Cause Delay’s

American General has revised Applications and the Exam Part II for all States. The new packets were made effective October 1st. Applications completed on the older paperwork will only be accepted until October 23rd. Any applications sent in after that day will need to be on the Revised 2011 forms for compliance purposes.

September is Life Insurance Awareness Month

As you all know, September is Life Insurance Awareness Month. According to a recent study, ( 2011 LifeJacket^SM Study) the need to raise awareness has never been greater. Over 42% of adults with household incomes between $50,000 and $250,000 do not have life insurance coverage. (amazing!)  Even for those who do own life insurance, 40% recognize that they need more. TransAmerica Discontinues Trendsetter

Transamerica will be discontinuing the sale of the Trendsetter term product. All new Trendsetter applications must be dated and submitted before September 30th, 2011.

The Trendsetter term product has been replaced by the new TransTerm UL product. This UL combines the length and guarantee of a term with the built in flexibility of a UL policy.
